EHR Go-Live Fun in New York
It’s true that with the right preparation, you can ensure success implementing an electronic health record. But any change can be stressful, and a sense of humor can go a long way toward keeping up morale during go-live.
That was certainly the case at Astor Services for Children & Families when they went live on the CareLogic Enterprise EHR last week. By all accounts, the project has been extremely successful. Dr. Suzanne Button, the director of clinical outcomes stopped by the Astor offices after a full day in the Bronx exclaiming, “Things have gone even better than we could have hoped.”
Dr. Button provided this drawing from her son, and asked that we place it on the wall of the project managers’ office as reminder of the successes experienced so far. That’s what we like to hear!
